Odyssey Institute Minotaur (Buckeye, AZ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Trivium Prep Crimson Knights (Goodyear, AZ), 45-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Odyssey Institute upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Minotaur travel to Tonopah Valley (Tonopah, AZ) to play the Phoenix in a bout on Thursday, January 4. The Phoenix go into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Crimson Knights play the American Leadership Academy - West Foothills Guardians (Waddell, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Trivium Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Guardians go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 66-54 non-league loss to American Leadership Academy - Ironwood (Ironwood, AZ).
