Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Deer Lakes thwarts Armstrong

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Deer Lakes Lancers (Russellton, PA) and the visiting Armstrong River Hawks (Kittanning, PA), observed Deer Lakes's basketball team knock off Armstrong by a score of 48-32.

The Lancers (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Yough (Herminie, PA). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the River Hawks encounter the Perry Traditional Academy Commodores (Pittsburgh, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 3. Armstrong will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Commodores come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 65-45 non-league loss to Laurel (New Castle, PA).
