Georgia High School Basketball - Hephzibah succumbs to Burke County

November 30, 2024: Waynesboro, GA 30830

The Burke County Bears defeated the visiting Hephzibah Rebels basketball squad by a final score of 74-61 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the Bears clash with the Oglethorpe County Patriots (Lexington, GA) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, December 3. Burke County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Patriots come into the outing with a 0-3 record after their 58-43 non-league loss to Hart County (Hartwell, GA).

The Rebels (0-3) will now prepare for their outing against Howard (Macon, GA). The Huskies come into the AAA Region 4 outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Howard overcame Perry (Perry, GA), 55-52, in a non-league outing.
