In Saturday's league contest, the visiting Farmington Farmers basketball team scored a close 39-32 win over the Cuba/Spoon River Valley Wildcats.
The Farmers (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Tremont (Tremont, IL). The Turks come into the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Tremont edged Peoria Christian (Peoria, IL), 65-54, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Beardstown Tigers (Beardstown, IL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 3. Cuba/Spoon River Valley will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 44-31 non-league loss to Rushville-Industry (Rushville, IL).
