The McKinney Lions basketball team scored 65 points and limited the host Grapevine Mustangs to 61 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Lions now possess a 9-5 record. They play next when they host Allen for a 6A Region I District 6 game on Tuesday, December 3. McKinney will confront a Eagles team coming off a 80-61 non-league win over Westminster Academy (Fort Lauderdale, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 10-1.

With the loss, Grapevine falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Pinkston (Dallas, TX) to confront the Vikings in a non-league game on Monday, December 2. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 3-3. Pinkston lost 69-53 in their recent non-league game against Argyle (Argyle, TX)
