California High School Basketball - San Bernardino can't hold off Hoover

November 30, 2024: Glendale, CA 91202

Hoover Tornados (Glendale, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting San Bernardino Cardinals (San Bernardino, CA), 62-55 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Hoover upgrades its record to 3-3 on the year. The Tornados travel to Marshall (Pasadena, CA) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Wednesday, December 4. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 1-5. Marshall lost 67-19 in their recent non-league match against Bell Gardens (Bell Gardens, CA)

The Cardinals now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Troy for a non-league match on Monday, December 2. San Bernardino will face a Warriors squad coming off a 54-49 non-league loss to Fullerton (Fullerton, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-5.
