The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the St. Charles North North Stars (St. Charles, IL) and the host Thornton Wildcats (Harvey, IL), observed St. Charles North's basketball team knock off Thornton by a score of 58-50.

The North Stars (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL). The Falcons come into the DuKane challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Wheaton North prevailed over Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL), 78-50, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Rich Township Raptors (Olympia Fields, IL) in a Southland challenge, on Thursday, December 5. Thornton will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Raptors come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 73-39 non-league win over Summit Academy (Romulus, MI).
