The Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC), 71-46 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Bulldogs now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Harding University for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 3. Butler will play a Rams team coming off a 37-32 non-league win over Berry (Charlotte, NC). The Rams record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Hickory falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Red tornadoes host Huss (Gastonia, NC) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 3. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
