The Centennial Cougars edged the visiting Eastview Lightning ice hockey squad by a tally of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league match.
Next, the Cougars clash with the Wayzata Trojans (Plymouth, MN) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 3. Centennial will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Trojans enter the match with a 3-1 record after their 7-3 non-league win over Duluth East (Duluth, MN).
The Lightning (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Eagan (Eagan, MN). The Wildcats enter the South Suburban match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Eagan held off Woodbury (Woodbury, MN), 3-1, in a non-league match.
