The Athens Red Hawks basketball team scored 40 points and limited the host Swartz Creek Dragons to 31 in the Red Hawks non-league triumph on Sunday.

The Red Hawks now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Berkley for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 9.

The Dragons (0-1) will now prepare for their outing against Clio (Clio, MI). The Mustangs enter the Flint Metro outing with a 0-0 record.
