In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Lawrence County Cougars basketball team scored a good 58-48 triumph over the Natchez Bulldogs.

In their next game, the Cougars meet the Wilkinson County Wildcats (Woodville, MS) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, November 9. Lawrence County will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 55-12 non-league loss to South Pike (Magnolia, MS).
