The Bourbon County Colonels (Paris, KY) football defeated the host Holmes Bulldogs (Covington, KY), 28-14 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Colonels face the Boyle County Rebels (Danville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 4. Bourbon County will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record. The Rebels enter the bout with a 8-2 record after their 37-6 non-league loss to Frederick Douglass (Lexington, KY).
