Hickory Hornets (Hermitage, PA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the host General McLane Lancers (Edinboro, PA), 33-28 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Hickory improves its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Slippery Rock (Slippery Rock, PA) to battle the Rockets in a non-league test on Friday, November 11. The Rockets come into the test with a record of 7-4. Slippery Rock won 41-28 in their recent non-league test against Titusville (Titusville, PA)

With the loss, General McLane drops to 9-2 on the campaign.
