November 4, 2022: Ponchatoula, LA 70454

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Ponchatoula Green Wave (Ponchatoula, LA) and the visiting Hammond Tornadoes (Hammond, LA), observed Ponchatoula's football squad defeat Hammond by a count of 28-18.

The Green Wave now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Benton for a non-league contest on Friday, November 11. Ponchatoula will confront a Tigers team coming off a 28-24 league win over Parkway (Bossier City, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 7-3.

With the loss, Hammond moves to 5-5 on the season. The Tornadoes travel to Slidell (Slidell, LA) to confront the Tigers in a 5A District 6 outing on Friday, November 11. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 8-2. Slidell lost 16-6 in their recent league outing against Northshore (Slidell, LA)
