In Friday's non-league match, the host Hillcrest Trojans football squad scored a close 55-54 victory over the Quartz Hill Royals.

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Diamond Bar Brahmas (Diamond Bar, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, November 11. Hillcrest will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record. The Brahmas enter the match with a 10-1 record after their 41-10 non-league win over Coachella Valley (Thermal, CA).
