In Friday's non-league game, the Loyola Blakefield Dons (Towson, MD) football team got by the visiting Mt. Zion Prep Academy Warriors (Lanham, MD), by a score of 14-12.
The Dons (4-5) will now prepare for their game against Calvert Hall (Baltimore, MD). The Cardinals come into the MIAA A game with a 5-5 record.
The Warriors now sport a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Friendship Collegiate Academy for a non-league game on Friday, November 11. Mt. Zion Prep Academy will battle a Knights team coming off a 28-20 non-league win over Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Knights record now stands at 6-4.
