Texas High School Football - Premont can't get by Santa Maria

November 4, 2022: Premont, TX 78375

The Santa Maria Cougars held off the host Premont Cowboys football team by a count of 15-14 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Santa Maria upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Cougars travel to Shiner (Shiner, TX) to confront the Comanches in a non-league outing on Thursday, November 10. The Comanches go into the outing with a record of 8-2. Shiner won 56-12 in their recent league outing against Kenedy (Kenedy, TX)

With the loss, Premont moves to 4-6 on the season.
