Massachusetts High School Football - Wachusett Regional felled by Xaverian Brothers

The Wachusett Regional Mountaineers football team (Holden, MA), was knocked off 45-29 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Xaverian Brothers Hawks (Westwood, MA)

The Hawks (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Central (Springfield, MA). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 8-1 record.

The Mountaineers now sport a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nashoba Regional for a non-league challenge on Thursday, November 10. Wachusett Regional will meet a Chieftains team coming off a 26-23 non-league win over Shepherd Hill Regional (Dudley, MA). The Chieftains record now stands at 6-3.
