Texas High School Basketball - Coronado thwarts El Paso

The Coronado Thunderbirds (El Paso, TX) basketball knocked off the host El Paso Tigers (El Paso, TX), 32-18 in Friday's non-league test.

The Thunderbirds (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Bel Air (El Paso, TX). The Highlanders go into the 5A Region I District 2 test with a 0-0 record.

The Tigers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Loretto for a non-league test on Tuesday, November 8.
