The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Academy of the Sacred Heart Cardinals (New Orleans, LA) and the visiting Springfield Bulldogs (Springfield, LA), saw Academy of the Sacred Heart's volleyball squad beat Springfield by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Academy of the Sacred Heart upgrades its record to 7-4 on the year. The Cardinals travel to John Curtis Christian (River Ridge, LA) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 10. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 31-8. John Curtis Christian won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy (Youngsville, LA)

The Bulldogs now own a 18-13 record.
