The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Newman Greenies (New Orleans, LA) and the host De La Salle Cavalier (New Orleans, LA), saw Newman's volleyball squad beat De La Salle by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Newman upgrades its record to 21-5 on the year. The Greenies travel to St. Charles Catholic (LaPlace, LA) to play the Comets in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 10. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 3-6. St. Charles Catholic won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Loyola College Prep (Shreveport, LA)
The Cavalier now own a 1-4 record.
