In Saturday's non-league match, the host Hardin-Jefferson Hawks basketball squad scored a nice 61-50 victory over the Atascocita Eagles.
With the victory, Hardin-Jefferson upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Sam Rayburn (Pasadena, TX) to play the Texans in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 6. The Texans come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Sam Rayburn lost 53-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Benjamin Davis (Houston, TX)
Next up, the Eagles play the Cypress Woods Wildcats (Cypress, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 7. Atascocita will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 42-39 non-league win over Stratford (Houston, TX).
