Indiana High School Basketball - Union County nips Milan

November 4, 2023: Liberty, IN 47353

Union County Patriots (Liberty, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Milan Indians (Milan, IN), 30-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Union County upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Patriots host Batesville (Batesville, IN) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Friday, November 10. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 1-1. Batesville lost 59-39 in their recent non-league game against New Palestine (New Palestine, IN)

With the defeat, Milan moves to 0-2 on the year. The Indians travel to South Ripley (Versailles, IN) to face the Raiders in a Ohio River Valley game on Tuesday, November 7. The Raiders enter the game with a record of 1-1. South Ripley won 44-30 in their recent non-league game against Hauser (Hope, IN)
