The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the St. Thomas More Cougars (Lafayette, LA) and the host A.J. Ellender Patriots (Houma, LA), saw St. Thomas More's volleyball squad beat A.J. Ellender by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, St. Thomas More upgrades its record to 34-5 on the year. The Cougars travel to Assumption (Napoleonville, LA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 9. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 20-22. Assumption won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Beau Chene (Arnaudville, LA)

The Patriots now own a 20-19 record.
