In Monday's non-league match, the Poquoson Islanders (Poquoson, VA) volleyball squad prevailed the visiting Nottoway Cougars (Nottoway, VA), by a tally of 3-0.
The Islanders now have a 12-12 record. They play next when they travel to Windsor for a non-league outing on Wednesday, November 6. Poquoson will play a Dukes team coming off a 3-0 league win over Southampton (Courtland, VA). The Dukes record now stands at 21-4.
With the loss, Nottoway drops to 10-11 on the campaign.
