Carrollton Trojans (Carrollton, GA) fans went home in high spirits Tuesday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the visiting Newnan Cougars (Newnan, GA), 21-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Carrollton upgrades its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Cedartown (Cedartown, GA) to meet the Bulldogs in a D4 Area 2 test on Wednesday, November 5. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 0-5. Cedartown lost 7-6 in their recent league challenge against Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, GA)

The Cougars (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Landmark Christian (Fairburn, GA). The War Eagles go into the D4 Area 3 challenge with a 6-8 record. In their last challenge, Landmark Christian lost by East Coweta (Sharpsburg, GA), 34-0, in a league challenge.
