The Bacon Academy Bobcats (Colchester, CT) football nudged the host New London Whalers (New London, CT), 14-13 in Saturday's league bout.
In their next game, the Bobcats clash with the Waterford Lancers (Waterford, CT) in a Eastern Connecticut II bout, on Saturday, November 12. Bacon Academy will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record. The Lancers enter the bout with a 4-4 record after their 56-7 non-league loss to Killingly (Killingly, CT).
The Whalers (2-6) will now prepare for their bout against Ledyard (Ledyard, CT). The Colonels enter the non-league bout with a 7-1 record. In their last bout, Ledyard held off Windham (Willimantic, CT), 26-20, in a league bout.
