The Leander Lions basketball team scored 48 points and limited the host Jarrell Cougars to 34 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lions (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial (Corpus Christi, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial was topped by San Benito (San Benito, TX), 43-30, in a non-league contest.
