Cushing Academy Penguins (Ashburnham, MA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Pomfret School Griffins (Pomfret, CT), 3-1 in a non-league outing.

The Penguins (7-10) will now prepare for their outing against Tilton School (Tilton, NH). The Rams go into the non-league outing with a 3-14 record. In their last outing, Tilton School by Proctor Academy (Andover, NH), 9-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Griffins confront the Millbrook School Mustangs (Millbrook, NY) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, November 8. Pomfret School will attempt to advance on its 5-13 season record. The Mustangs come into the test with a 11-4 record after their 1-0 league win over Cheshire Academy (Cheshire, CT).
