In Wednesday's non-league outing, the visiting La Cueva Bears soccer team scored a close 5-1 triumph over the Hobbs Eagles.
With the triumph, La Cueva moves its record to 19-1 on the campaign. The Bears host Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM) to clash with the Rams in a non-league test on Saturday, November 8. The Rams come into the test with a record of 15-4. Rio Rancho won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM)
The Eagles now sport a 16-6 record.
