Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Middlesex (Concord, MA) and the host Buckingham Browne & Nichols Knights (Cambridge, MA), saw Middlesex's soccer squad hold off Buckingham Browne & Nichols by a count of 2-1.

The (12-4) will now prepare for their battle against St. George's (Middletown, RI). The Dragons enter the Independent School battle with a 13-5 record. In their last battle, St. George's tipped Thayer Academy (Braintree, MA), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Knights confront the Lawrence Academy Spartans (Groton, MA) in a Independent School battle, on Saturday, November 9. Buckingham Browne & Nichols will attempt to upgrade on its 13-5 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 6-10 record after their 2-1 league loss to Groton School (Groton, MA).
