Cypress Bay Lightning (Weston, FL) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer squad triumph over the visiting West Broward Bobcats (Pembroke Pines, FL), 6-0 in a league outing.
The Lightning (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Cooper City (Cooper City, FL). The Cowboys go into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Cooper City was overwhelmed by Pembroke Pines Charter (Pembroke Pines, FL), 1-0, in a non-league test.
The Bobcats now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Hollywood Hills for a non-league test on Monday, November 10. West Broward will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to South Broward (Hollywood, FL). The Spartans record now stands at 0-1.
