The Corning Bobcats basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Maynard Tigers to 32 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Monday.
The Bobcats now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westside for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 9. Corning will meet a Rebels team coming off a 59-32 non-league loss to Two Rivers (Ola, AR). The Rebels record now stands at 0-1.
The Tigers (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Mammoth Spring (Mammoth Spring, AR). The Bears enter the 1A Region 3 contest with a 2-1 record.
