In Monday's non-league game, the Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC) soccer squad tipped the visiting Union Academy Cardinals (Monroe, NC), by a final score of 1-0.
The Villains (16-4) will now prepare for their game against Christ the King (Huntersville, NC). The Crusaders go into the non-league game with a 16-3 record. In their last game, Christ the King nipped Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC), 5-0, in a non-league game.
