Elkins Elks (Elkins, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Westside Rebels (Coal Hill, AR), 54-21 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Elkins upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Elks travel to Sacred Heart (Morrilton, AR) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league bout on Wednesday, November 8. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Sacred Heart won 55-38 in their recent non-league bout against Charleston (Charleston, AR)

Next up, the Rebels clash with the Danville Little Johns (Danville, AR) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 20. Westside will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
