    In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Bland Tigers (Merit, TX) basketball squad beat the visiting Community Braves (Nevada, TX), by a margin of 42-32.

    The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Ector (Ector, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 0-3 record.

    The Braves now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Honey Grove for a non-league outing on Friday, November 10. Community will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 47-30 non-league win over Caddo Mills (Caddo Mills, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 1-0.
