Liberty Christian Warriors (Argyle, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Connally Cadets (Waco, TX), 48-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Liberty Christian upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Warriors travel to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, TX) to play the Bulls in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 14. The Bulls go into the bout with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Cadets play the Midlothian Heritage Jaguars (Midlothian, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 10. Connally will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 82-36 non-league win over Kennedale (Kennedale, TX).
