Indiana High School Basketball - Jay County crushes Fort Wayne South Side

November 7, 2023: Portland, IN 47371

Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Fort Wayne South Side Archers (Fort Wayne, IN), 60-35 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Jay County upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Hamilton Heights (Arcadia, IN) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 11. The Huskies come into the bout with a record of 3-1. Hamilton Heights lost 55-38 in their recent non-league bout against Noblesville (Noblesville, IN)

Next up, the Archers play the Alexandria-Monroe Tigers (Alexandria, IN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 9. Fort Wayne South Side will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 71-44 non-league win over Delta (Muncie, IN).
