The Goose Creek Memorial Patriots basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting La Marque Cougars to 31 in the Patriots non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Patriots now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Canyon Lake for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 9. Goose Creek Memorial will battle a team coming off a 47-43 non-league loss to Saint Mary's Hall (San Antonio, TX). The record now stands at 1-1.
The Cougars (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against College Park (The Woodlands, TX). The Cavaliers come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, College Park triumphed over Cy-Fair (Cypress, TX), 30-23, in a non-league contest.
