Slaton Tigers (Slaton, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Muleshoe Mules (Muleshoe, TX), 56-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Slaton upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Tigers travel to Lamesa (Lamesa, TX) to play the Tornadoes in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 11. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Lamesa lost 36-34 in their recent non-league bout against Midland (Midland, TX)

Next up, the Mules play the Springlake-Earth Wolverines (Earth, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 10. Muleshoe will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
