The South Knox Spartans (Vincennes, IN) basketball knocked off the visiting Washington Hatchets (Washington, IN), 53-45 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Spartans (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Pike Central (Petersburg, IN). The Chargers go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Pike Central went down by Boonville (Boonville, IN), 42-25, in a league test.
The Hatchets now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Vincennes Rivet for a non-league test on Friday, November 10. Washington will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 43-30 non-league win over Evansville Harrison (Evansville, IN). The Patriots record now stands at 2-0.
