The Vanoss Wolves basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Tupelo Tigers to 22 in the Wolves league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wolves now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Lima for a non-league contest on Friday, November 10. Vanoss will face a Falcons team coming off a 46-18 league win over Macomb (Macomb, OK). The Falcons record now stands at 2-1.
With the defeat, Tupelo moves to 0-2 on the year. The Tigers travel to Stonewall (Stonewall, OK) to face the Longhorns in a Pontotoc game on Friday, November 10. The Longhorns enter the game with a record of 1-1. Stonewall won 62-18 in their recent non-league game against Stuart (Stuart, OK)
