Gilbert/Northwestern/Housatonic Yellowjackets (Winsted, CT) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Wolcott Eagles (Wolcott, CT), 49-14 in a league battle.

With the win, Gilbert/Northwestern/Housatonic advances its record to 2-6 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Holy Cross (Waterbury, CT) to encounter the Crusaders in a Naugatuck Valley - Copper battle on Thursday, November 14. The Crusaders go into the battle with a record of 5-3. Holy Cross lost 28-21 in their recent league battle against Watertown (Watertown, CT)
