In Thursday's non-league contest, the host North Daviess Cougars basketball team scored a big 55-22 win over the Shoals Jug Rox.
The Cougars (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against North Central (Farmersburg, IN). The Thunderbirds come into the Southwestern Indiana contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, North Central smashed Terre Haute North Vigo (Terre Haute, IN), 58-33, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Jug Rox battle the Bloomfield Cardinals (Bloomfield, IN) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, November 14. Shoals will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record.
