The Bristol Eastern Lancers football team (Bristol, CT), was topped 24-8 in Friday's league bout with the host Edwin O. Smith Panthers (Storrs, CT)

With the win, Edwin O. Smith advances its record to 3-5 on the season. The Panthers host Berlin (Berlin, CT) to confront the Redcoats in a Central Connecticut - Tier 2 contest on Friday, November 14. The Redcoats enter the contest with a record of 8-0. Berlin won 35-0 in their recent non-league contest against Farmington (Farmington, CT)

Coming up next, the Lancers confront the Newington Nor'easters (Newington, CT) in a Central Connecticut - Tier 3 battle, on Saturday, November 15. Bristol Eastern will attempt to advance on its 1-7 season record. The Nor'easters go into the battle with a 6-2 record after their 42-0 league win over RHAM (Hebron, CT).
