Connecticut High School Football - Platt RVT can't hold off Cheney Tech

The Cheney Tech Chargers got by the visiting Platt RVT Panthers football team by a score of 17-14 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Chargers play the Bullard-Havens Tigers (Bridgeport, CT) in a Connecticut Tech challenge, on Friday, November 14. Cheney Tech will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 33-6 league win over Thames River co-op [Norwich RVT/Grasso RVT/St. Bernard] (Norwich, CT).

The Panthers (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Varsity Opponent (, ). The go into the non-league challenge with a 23-96 record. In their last challenge, Varsity Opponent nipped Pine Belt (Hattiesburg, MS), 36-30, in a league outing.
