In Friday's non-league match, the host Fairfield Central Griffins football squad scored a good 50-21 victory over the Chesnee Eagles.

The Griffins (8-3) will now prepare for their match against Andrew Jackson (Kershaw, SC). The Volunteers enter the non-league match with a 7-4 record. In their last match, Andrew Jackson thwarted Ninety Six (Ninety Six, SC), 34-15, in a non-league match.
