The North Branford Thunderbirds (North Branford, CT) football knocked off the visiting CREC [Computer Science and Engineering/Academy] Eagles (Enfield, CT), 54-28 in Friday's league outing.

The Thunderbirds now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Windsor Locks/Suffield/East Granby for a non-league outing on Friday, November 14. North Branford will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 55-12 league loss to Haddam-Killingworth (Higganum, CT). The Raiders record now stands at 2-6.

The Eagles (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Weaver (Hartford, CT). The Beavers enter the Pequot - Sassacus game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, Weaver notched a victory over Coventry/Windham RVT/Bolton (Coventry, CT), 34-0, in a league game.
