Spectators at Friday's non-league bout between the Okolona Chieftains (Okolona, MS) and the host West Tallahatchie Choctaws (Webb, MS), saw Okolona's football team nip West Tallahatchie by a final score of 24-20.

With the win, Okolona advances its record to 5-6 on the season. The Chieftains travel to Falkner (Falkner, MS) to confront the Eagles in a non-league match on Friday, November 14. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 6-4. Falkner won 42-6 in their recent non-league match against Thrasher (Booneville, MS)
