Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Lexington Catholic Knights (Lexington, KY) and the visiting Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY), observed Lexington Catholic's volleyball team top Blazer by a count of 3-0.

The Knights (33-4) will now prepare for their contest against Assumption (Louisville, KY). The Rockets enter the non-league contest with a 38-4 record. In their last battle, Assumption achieved victory over Shelby Valley (Pikeville, KY), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Tomcats now own a 40-5 record.
